SANTA LUZIA, Brazil, April 2, 2024 -- TrinaTracker, a business unit of Trina Solar, proudly announces its contribution to the 520MW Santa Luzia Complex, one of the largest solar plants in Brazil. The plant, currently undergoing commissioning, is entirely equipped with Vanguard 1P trackers incorporating the SuperTrack Smart Tracking Algorithm.
TrinaTracker began supplying the project, covering more than 1,700 hectares and consisting of nine components, last year. Once connected to the grid it will power about 123,000 local households, reducing CO2 emissions by 380,000 tons. The project created nearly 1,000 local jobs during construction, and with its completion economic, environmental and social benefits will be delivered, promoting sustainable development in the region.
