vivenu Brings Live Ticketing Operations Into AI Tools Including Claude and ChatGPT With the Launch of vivenu MCP Server

Building on the vivenu AI Assistant, MCP Server enables event organizers to execute more than 100 vivenu actions from their familiar AI tools.

NEW YORK, Oct. 29, 2026 /PRNewswire/ -- vivenu, the AI-native ticketing infrastructure for live entertainment enterprises, today announced the launch of vivenu MCP Server, which allows organizers to manage their ticketing data with AI tools including Claude, ChatGPT, and Codex. Organizers can now use external AI tools to ask questions about their live ticketing data and act on the answers in the same conversation, resulting in more efficient operations.

vivenu is the AI-native ticketing infrastructure for live entertainment enterprises.

From their individual vivenu account, organizers can now use any of their MCP-compatible AI tools to work with their vivenu ticketing data. This includes: create an event, set pricing, issue tickets, hold seats, or pull a branded sales report. Teams can also use AI tools to set up recurring workflows, such as a daily alert for events that are selling behind target.

In July, vivenu launched the vivenu AI Assistant, which works inside the vivenu platform. The MCP Server now extends vivenu's AI capabilities by bringing vivenu data to any compatible external AI tools an organizer's team uses. It is built on MCP, the open Model Context Protocol standard that lets compatible AI tools connect to external data sources. This allows vivenu customers to use AI tools to combine their ticketing data with the documents, CRM records and other systems they already access, for more efficient and effective workflows.

Ticketing data has traditionally lived inside the vendor's dashboard. vivenu's API-first architecture is built on the opposite assumption: that the organizer's data should be where decisions are made. The vivenu MCP Server supports more than 100 vivenu actions, from event setup and price tables to coupons, free tickets, seat holds, checkouts and reporting, which the organizer's AI tool combines into complete workflows.

"Our customers didn't ask for another dashboard. They asked for their ticketing data to show up where the rest of their work already happens, with their CRM, their marketing numbers and their board report," said Simon Hennes, co-founder and CEO of vivenu. "The MCP Server does exactly that. A marketing director can ask about last weekend's sales, get a branded report back, and create the discount code the answer points to, without leaving their AI tool."

vivenu MCP Server features and benefits

  • Answer and act in one step. Users can ask about sales, inventory or customers, then create the event, coupon or seat hold, all in the same conversation.
  • Verbally request reports. Users can ask for last month's sales and receive a branded report covering revenue, orders, average order value, weekly trend, top events and channel mix, with risks and opportunities flagged.
  • Move inventory on command. If the user requests five seats together across the next three dates, the AI tool checks availability, releases seats from a held contingent if needed and holds them for the buyer.
  • Automated workflows. For example, teams can use their AI tool to deliver a daily sales wrap as a PDF each morning, inside the guardrails they set.
  • Retain control. Each team member uses their vivenu login. Every action is based on that person's permissions. The MCP Server flags actions that change data, such as price updates, to the AI tool for confirmation before they run.

"We built the MCP Server on the same principles as the vivenu AI Assistant: it reads the live data the platform runs on, and it respects every existing role and permission," said Jens Teichert, co-founder and CTO of vivenu. "The difference is where it lives. Organizers choose the AI tool, we make sure vivenu is a first-class citizen inside it."

The vivenu MCP Server is available now to vivenu customers and works with Claude, ChatGPT, Codex and other AI tools that support MCP.
