PITTSBURGH, Feb. 13, 2025 -- Family Resource Home Care ("Family Resource"), a portfolio company of Great Point Partners announced last week the acquisition of Beneficial In-Home Care, Inc., ("Beneficial" or the "Company"), one of Eastern Washington's largest home care agencies with six locations. This acquisition further strengthens Family Resource's footprint in Washington and enhances its ability to serve more communities with compassionate, high-quality care. Combined, the two agencies will serve more clients in these markets than any other home care agency.
The Braff Group served as the exclusive financial advisor for Beneficial In-Home Care, Inc.
"The opportunity to acquire Beneficial In-Home Care was a perfect alignment with our growth and market development strategies at Family Resource," said Hector Barragan, CEO of Family Resource Home Care. "With a strong reputation for delivering exceptional support to seniors and families across Washington, we are thrilled to welcome their dedicated team to our organization and look forward to continuing to grow together."
"For over 20 years, Beneficial In-Home Care has been committed to improving the lives of our clients and their families through compassionate and reliable care," said Corey Ross, CEO of Beneficial In-Home Care. "As we looked for the right transition plan for our company, we were elated that Family Resource Home Care expressed interest. As the market leaders in home care alongside us, this is truly the joining of two exceptional organizations that will allow for the expansion our mission and provide even greater support to our clients and caregivers."
"For almost three decades Beneficial In-Home Care has been the leading provider of quality care to residents across Eastern Washington. It was important to the shareholders to find the right Buyer to ensure the continuation and expansion of Beneficial's commitment to its clients, employees, and regional Medicaid programs. It was an honor to work with the shareholders to identify and execute a transaction with Family Resource to meet all of their objectives, with the added benefit of the future investment available to these communities and employees moving forward," commented Kris Novak, The Braff Group Managing Director that headed up the deal team representing Beneficial.
