This award profiles innovative case study-type projects designed to automate, optimize, streamline and improve the supply chain.
AUSTIN, Texas, June 17, 2025 -- Supply & Demand Chain Executive named Autronica and LeanDNA as one of the winners of this year's Top Supply Chain Projects award, which profiles innovative case study-type projects designed to automate, optimize, streamline, and improve the supply chain. This recognition highlights Autronica's successful implementation of LeanDNA's intelligent supply chain execution platform to overcome challenges related to lack of supply chain data visibility, manual processes, and inefficient cross-team collaboration.
Before LeanDNA, Autronica's planning and purchasing teams relied heavily on spreadsheets and ad-hoc communication, leading to duplicated efforts and a lack of visibility. Recognizing the need for a unified solution, Autronica implemented LeanDNA in 2024, revolutionizing their planning process by providing comprehensive visibility and streamlining communication. This cloud-based platform became the single source of truth, enabling better foresight for production planning.
"Many of today's supply chain companies are tasked with providing the utmost in visibility. Whether it's tracking reverse logistics, implementing financial software or upgrading sourcing solutions, collaborations and partnerships are what make supply chain projects a success.
That's why it's important to celebrate those projects (and partnerships)," says Marina Mayer, editor-in-chief of Food Logistics and Supply & Demand Chain Executive.
The impact of LeanDNA has been significant and ongoing. Autronica has achieved a 46% overall reduction in shortages, a 73% reduction in shortages per order, and a 12% improvement in inventory turnover. Notably, their Clear to Build percentage increased to 100%, up 27% since implementation, demonstrating the effectiveness of their new planning process and enhanced collaboration.
"We were not able to see everything as clearly as we can now with LeanDNA," noted Thea A. Tysnes, SIOP Manager at Autronica. "We didn't have one platform that everyone used, but now we have a single source of truth."
