Net has been acquired by Snowflake, according to a definitive deal signed today by the Data Cloud firm.
The code conversion is needed to guarantee that all old database functionality can be migrated to the cloud with the least amount of time and effort is a major barrier with platform migrations. Using sophisticated automated techniques, the SnowConvert toolset has long been the go-to option for transferring customer workloads to Snowflake.
By acquiring SnowConvert, Snowflake will assist more clients, partners, and members of their Snowflake partner network in moving more data and applications into the Data Cloud, allowing clients to see the benefits of their Snowflake investment more quickly.
