Nominations open today and run through April 14; four grand prize winners to be recognized during
National Nurses Week
KNOXVILLE, Tenn. , March 10, 2025 -- PerfectServe®, a leading provider of cloud-based clinical collaboration and provider scheduling solutions, today announced the launch of its fifth annual Nurses of Note awards program. The program has evolved to spotlight exceptional nurses across four distinct award categories, celebrating their innovation, leadership, teamwork, and patient care excellence. Nominations are open from March 10 through April 14, with winners to be announced during National Nurses Week in May.
Since its inception in 2021, Nurses of Note has recognized over 500 outstanding nurses for their dedication and impact in healthcare. This year's program introduces a focused approach with four award categories:
- Innovative Technology Utilization Award: Recognizes a nurse who has demonstrated exceptional skill and creativity in utilizing technology to improve patient care, streamline workflows, or enhance communication within their health system.
- Excellence in Nursing Leadership Award: Celebrates a nurse leader who has demonstrated exceptional leadership qualities, inspiring and guiding their team to achieve high standards of care and operational excellence. (Reserved for nursing leadership titles only: CNO, CNIO, etc.)
- Exceptional Team Support Award: Honors a nurse who has shown outstanding dedication to supporting and uplifting their coworkers through mentorship, collaboration, or consistently going above and beyond for team members.
- Patient-Centered Care Excellence Award: Acknowledges a nurse who has provided exemplary patient care, demonstrating compassion, empathy, and a patient-first approach in all aspects of their work.
"Throughout my career, which includes over 20 years as a bedside nurse, I've witnessed the profound impact nurses make through their unwavering commitment to patient care and team support," said PerfectServe Chief Customer Officer & Chief Clinical Officer Kelly Conklin. "With this year's enhanced Nurses of Note program, we're excited to spotlight nursing excellence across specific dimensions that really capture the multifaceted nature of the nursing profession. These four categories represent the cornerstones of exceptional nursing practice, and I look forward to celebrating the remarkable stories that emerge."
Four grand prize winners—one in each category—will be selected, along with four additional honorable mentions for outstanding contributions. Winners will receive prizes including a $200 gift card, and they'll also be featured in detailed profiles on the PerfectServe blog, which will be highlighted across the company's social media channels.
Colleagues, friends, family members, and nurses themselves are encouraged to submit nominations for deserving nurses in any specialty. For more information about the program or to nominate an exceptional nurse, visit PerfectServe's Nurses of Note awards program page.
