Data will be presented on new and upcoming technologies, including fast, streamlined library preparation, plus new technologies for epigenetics and new sequencing platforms.
IPSWICH, Mass., Feb. 21, 2025 -- New England Biolabs (NEB®) will be presenting a host of technologies aimed at streamlining sample preparation technologies towards the production of high-quality sequencing data at this year's Advances in Genome Biology and Technology (AGBT) General Meeting.
Specifically, NEB will share details and experiences around the recently released NEBNext® Enzymatic Methyl-seq v2 kit, which expands the dynamic input range for the technology down to 100 picograms of DNA mass, rendering it applicable for a wide range of applications across general and clinical research utilities.
Additionally, presentations will feature streamlined workflows to prepare samples from cell-free DNA and RNA, including Monarch® bead-based extraction, through to library preparation using NEBNext Ultra II and UltraExpress® DNA and RNA kits. These workflows offer substantial time and efficiency savings, enabling high-quality data from diminishing sample inputs.
NEB will also share details on the expanded NEBNext portfolio for epigenetics studies, including the adapted Enzymatic 5hmC-seq™ Kit for detection of 5hmC, as well as new technologies for enzymatic DNA fragmentation, chromatin structure analysis and improvements in data analysis.
This year's meeting will be held from February 23 - 26, in Marco Island, Florida, and NEB's base will be the Osprey 5 Suite.
