NEW YORK, April 30, 2025 -- Massumi + Consoli, a nationwide law firm recognized for its leading private equity and M&A practice, today announced the launch of its new Real Estate practice to bolster the firm's ability to serve its clients' needs. James R. Morrissey and Kyle R. Johnson have joined the firm as Partners in New York to help launch the firm's new offering.
The new Real Estate practice will advise clients on the acquisition, development, financing, leasing and disposition of real estate assets and portfolios, with particular depth in industries where real estate assets are central to operations and investment strategy, including energy and infrastructure, healthcare, industrials and logistics.

James Morrissey is a seasoned real estate and energy attorney who counsels investors, developers and operators on acquisitions, sales, joint ventures and financings involving diverse real estate assets. He has advised on high-value transactions involving both traditional real estate and energy-related infrastructure projects, offering a pragmatic and commercially driven approach to dealmaking.
Kyle Johnson is an environmental attorney with substantial experience advising clients on the environmental aspects of corporate and real estate transactions, including in the context of due diligence, risk allocation and regulatory compliance.
