InventHelp Inventor Develops New Dock Line System (SBT-2063)

PITTSBURGH, Nov. 4, 2025 -- "I thought there should be a way to greatly simplify the process of docking a boat, especially when dealing with waves, currents, and windy conditions," said an inventor, from Meridian, Idaho, "so I invented the SAFETY LINE. My design would eliminate the hassle and potential dangers commonly associated with attempting to tie knots on dock cleats using traditional boat dock ropes."

The patent-pending invention provides an improved means of securing a boat to a dock. In doing so, it eliminates the need to fumble with ropes while attempting to tie off onto the dock cleats. As a result, it increases safety and convenience. It also provides added protection and peace of mind. The invention features an adjustable and durable design that is easy to use so it is ideal for boaters. Additionally, a prototype is available.

The original design was submitted to the National sales office of InventHelp. It is currently available for licensing or sale to manufacturers or marketers.
