InventHelp Inventor Develops Improved Tattoo Application for Radiation Treatments (SBM-109)

PITTSBURGH, April 14, 2025 -- "I'm a radiation therapist and I thought there could be an improved way to create a permanent tattoo dot to set up radiation treatments on a daily basis," said an inventor, from Auburn, Calif., "so I invented the TRUE - TAT. My design allows you to place the tattoo in seconds without the mess or time usually involved in this procedure."

The invention provides an improved method to permanently mark the skin for radiation treatment. In doing so, it saves time and effort. It also reduces mess by eliminating the need to clean up ink and blood. The invention features a simple and sterile design that is easy to use so it is ideal for radiation therapists. Additionally, a prototype is available.

The original design was submitted to the San Diego sales office of InventHelp. It is currently available for licensing or sale to manufacturers or marketers.
