PITTSBURGH, March 13, 2025 -- "My community experienced the loss of one of its patriarchs in a tragic vehicle accident in which his truck entered a retention pond and he was unable to escape. I thought there should be an automatic way to shatter the side vehicle window," said an inventor, from Murrells Inlet, S.C., "so I invented the SINGLETON DEVICE. My design eliminates the need to search the door pocket or open the glove box to locate a window-breaking hammer."
The patent-pending invention provides an effective way to shatter the window of a vehicle that has unexpectedly plunged into water. In doing so, it enables the individual to escape via the window. As a result, it increases safety, and it provides added peace of mind. The invention features an automatic design that is easy to use so it is ideal for vehicle owners. Additionally, a prototype is available.
The original design was submitted to the Columbia sales office of InventHelp. It is currently available for licensing or sale to manufacturers or marketers.
