HPE to Acquire Juniper Networks for $14 Billion

Hewlett Packard Enterprise (HPE) plans to pay $14 billion for Juniper Networks in order to accelerate AI-driven innovation.

HPE's portfolio will be strengthened as a result of this acquisition, which combines its expertise in edge-to-cloud solutions with Juniper's networking capabilities.

HPE and Juniper's strategic partnership increases HPE's emphasis on high-growth solutions, strengthens its networking business, and drives sustainable profitability. In addition, the partnership strengthens HPE's edge-to-cloud strategy by providing a secure and simplified networking portfolio for customers of all sizes in AI-native settings.

According to the company, following the deal, Juniper CEO Rami Rahim will take over leadership of the combined HPE networking business, reporting directly to HPE President and CEO Antonio Neri. HPE will continue to invest in innovation and go-to-market initiatives for its networking business as a result of this move.
