Forty-five students earn Top in the World and Top in the U.S. awards from Cambridge International Education for their performance in the June 2024 exams series.
NEW YORK, Feb. 19, 2025 -- The International Education group at Cambridge University Press & Assessment (Cambridge) today announced that 45 students in the United States have received prestigious awards for their performance on the June 2024 Cambridge exam series. These awards include Top in the World and Top in the U.S., celebrating the success of students across the country taking Cambridge Pre-Advanced (IGCSE) and Cambridge Advanced (International AS & A Level) exams.
Cambridge saw a record rise in exam entries in June 2024, with more students taking Cambridge exams around the world than ever before. Entries from U.S. students increased by 49% from 2022, reflecting the growing interest from families, schools, and districts in Cambridge Pre-Advanced (IGCSE) and Cambridge Advanced (International AS & A Level) exams.
Cambridge provides an instructional system that aligns rigorous curriculum, pedagogy, professional development and assessment for students in grades Pre-K-12. The Cambridge Pathway, which culminates in internationally benchmarked Cambridge Advanced courses and exams, enables students to earn college-level credit in high school.

Students in Arizona, Florida, Massachusetts, New York, and Washington, D.C. performed exceptionally well in the June 2024 exam series, receiving top awards including:
- Four Top in the World awards for performance on exams in Thinking Skills, French Language, English General Paper, and English Language
- Forty-one Top in the U.S. awards for performance on exams including Global Perspectives & Research, Psychology, Environmental Management, Media Studies, and Mathematics
