Financial Finesse Named to Inc.'s Best Workplaces List for Third Year in a Row

Recognition underscores how financial wellness is core to high-performing workplace cultures

EL SEGUNDO, Calif., June 17, 2025 -- Financial Finesse, the country's leading independent provider of workplace financial wellness programs, has been named to Inc.'s 2025 Best Workplaces list for the third year in a row. The company was also recently recognized by American Banker as one of the Best Places to Work in Fintech — one of just 29 honorees.

The dual honors spotlight a culture built on employee wellbeing, mission alignment, and measurable impact — both within the organization and across the 20,000+ employers and millions of workers it serves.

Unlike traditional fintechs or benefits providers, Financial Finesse centers its offering on human coaching paired with AI technology — not the other way around. "Employees will never have an issue finding a phone number to reach a human coach," says Liz Davidson, CEO and Founder of Financial Finesse. "Our employees are the engine behind the life-changing coaching we deliver, be it live or virtual. Our mission is only possible when they're thriving too."

With financial stress still one of the biggest burdens for American workers —47% of US adults report that money negatively impacts their mental health — the stakes are high. Financial Finesse's mission-driven culture and internal focus on employee wellbeing prove that addressing financial stress creates value on both a social and business level. Workers who use its programs report less stress and greater confidence making financial decisions. They also exhibit positive, long-term changes to their financial behavior — results that directly reduce absenteeism, turnover, and burnout for employers.

"Our business is built on people helping people through some of life's most personal and stressful decisions — so it's essential that we support our own employees just as much as the ones we serve," said Kelsey Anderson, the company's Chief of Staff. "We don't see culture as a perk. It's the foundation for everything we do."

Through the combination of Aimee and Financial Finesse's human coaching, across the company's book of business, users have made the following improvements in 2025:

  • Among users who cited they were "in crisis/struggling" at the time of their first interaction with Aimee, 94% are now meeting basic needs.
  • Among those in the "planning" phase of their financial wellness journey, 81% with credit challenges subsequently achieved a credit score of at least 670, considered to be the starting point for good credit.
  • 71% of employees who started without an emergency fund now have an emergency savings of 1+ month expenses.
  • 68% of employees who were not previously investing enough to capture their full company match when they started the financial coaching process are now doing so.
  • Lastly, 67% of employees who started out struggling with debt have fully eliminated high interest debt.

This impact on employees is fueling significant growth in usage of the company's financial coaching benefit. Financial Finesse's virtual financial coach, Aimee, is projected to reach 45 million user interactions in 2025 — up from 22 million in 2024.
