WINTER PARK, Fla., March 24, 2025 -- On March 14, 2025, Demetree Ventures and Jenkins Capital, operating as 2015 Aloma Avenue Corporation, acquired 2011 Aloma Avenue from Fifth Third Bank for $1.9 million. This purchase marks a significant milestone in the legacy of Aloma Shopping Center, completing a vision that began over 60 years ago when two Central Florida homebuilders—William 'Bill' Demetree and William 'Bill' Jenkins—first laid the groundwork for what is now a thriving shopping center in Winter Park.
With this acquisition, the partners now own the entire stretch of property from St. Andrews Blvd. to Lander Road off of Aloma Ave., solidifying their long-term commitment to the community and the continued success of Aloma Shopping Center.

Today, Mary Demetree, Ann Clement, Sara Jenkins and Matt Clement continue the legacy set forth by their fathers and grandfather, expanding their investment in the area and reinforcing their dedication to preserving and improving Winter Park's commercial landscape.
The corner parcel at 2011 Aloma Avenue, located next to Mellow Mushroom, represents the final missing piece of the puzzle for the partners, aligning with the original vision of a fully integrated shopping center. The Aloma Shopping Center, home to Publix, Aloma Cinema Grill, Pet Supermarket, Mellow Mushroom, Dunkin', and Centennial Bank, will continue to serve the community with a strong mix of retailers and services.
