Feast & Fettle Enters Manhattan with Rare Ingredient: Profitability

The premium meal delivery service expands to NYC with what the industry rarely sees: disciplined, profitable growth

PROVIDENCE, R.I., Aug. 25, 2025 -- While the meal delivery industry struggles to turn a profit, Rhode Island-based Feast & Fettle is defying the trend. In its largest expansion yet, the premium meal delivery service announced today that it is officially launching in Manhattan, bringing its homemade, hand-delivered meals to 2.5 million NYC households.

"Feast & Fettle stands out as one of the few profitable players in meal delivery."

Across the U.S. and Europe, leading publicly listed food delivery companies reported a combined $20 billion in operating losses last year. By contrast, Feast & Fettle has surged with 25x revenue growth in the last five years, through a series of calculated market entries, strategic acquisitions and an uncompromising focus on quality.

Feast & Fettle stands out as one of the few profitable players in meal delivery. Operating with a single state-of-the-art commissary kitchen, supported by a dedicated distribution center, the company is already delivering high single-digit EBITDA margins, while growing revenue more than 40% annually. With kitchen-level margins above 25% – virtually unheard of in the category – the business expects consolidated margins to climb beyond 20% as it continues to scale its infrastructure.

Feast & Fettle's staying power shows in its customer base: nearly half of all revenue comes from Members who've been with the service for over a year – more than twice the industry average (less than 20%).

"The industry has been chasing growth at any cost – cutting corners on quality, outsourcing operations, and losing money along the way," said Carlos Ventura, CEO of Feast & Fettle. "We built Feast & Fettle differently: hospitality first, growth second. That's what makes us profitable, and why we'll win in New York."

Unlike competitors reliant on third parties, Feast & Fettle maintains its high standards by owning every step: from sourcing ingredients and cooking in-house, to handling doorstep delivery with its own drivers and vans. This vertically integrated model ensures quality and consistency at scale.
