2024 Winner and 2013 Semi-Finalist of Comerica Hatch Detroit Contest by TechTown will showcase products and services at Little Caesars Arena
DETROIT, Feb. 24, 2025 -- Seven Metro Detroit small businesses will showcase their products and services as part of the Detroit Pistons SHOP313 Pop-Up Shops Presented by Comerica on Feb. 26 when the Pistons host the Boston Celtics at Little Caesars Arena.
February's SHOP313 Pop-Up Shop Presented by Comerica is the second of the small business engagements providing exposure and resources to local businesses. Regina DuBose, owner of The Alexis Company in Detroit, was among the small businesses who participated in January.
"I think it was wonderful," DuBose said. "I really enjoyed the opportunity to meet new people, show the products from my business, and interact with that environment. It was really exciting and truly effervescent. There were a lot of moving parts, but we just thought it was a great opportunity to be in that setting."
Included in the seven small businesses to be featured on Feb. 26 is the 2024 Comerica Hatch Detroit Contest by TechTown winner G.L.A.M. Body Scrubs. Owner Tiffany Cartwright captured the $100,000 grand prize to help in her entrepreneurial journey to launch a brick-and-mortar store in Detroit, Hamtramck or Highland Park.
Another of the most successful Hatch Detroit alums, Busted Bra Shop, will also be participating. Owner and founder Lee Padgett has grown the boutique from inspiration to stores serving Detroit, Ann Arbor and Chicago. Busted Bra Shop was a 2013 Comerica Hatch Detroit Contest semi-finalist.
Two additional SHOP313 Pop-Up Shops Presented by Comerica are small businesses with a focus on serving the community. Beyond Existing Enterprises, LLC (Sterling Heights) is a consultant service assisting philanthropic organizations. Hygiene On Wheels (Detroit) is a mobile dentistry service providing dental care and oral hygiene education to underserved populations.
Other small business participants in February's SHOP313 Pop-Up Shops area in the UWM District Market include: Kravat Menswear (Garden City and Dearborn), a men's modern-day boutique, and Kream Sisters Event Planning Llc.
SHOP313 Pop-Up Shops presented by Comerica continues to expand on both Comerica's and the Detroit Pistons' ongoing commitment to support, highlight, and elevate the small business ecosystem that remains vital in driving the Metro Detroit and statewide economy.
During each designated game, seven Comerica Bank small business customers will participate. Six businesses focused on growing direct customer engagement will be able to take advantage of the SHOP313 Pop-Up Shops area in the UWM District Market concourse to promote their brand. And the seventh small business will receive suite access, providing them a business-to-business networking environment for clients and prospects.
