What happened?
On or around July 13, 2024, Smart ERP experienced a cyber security incident that affected some of its systems. They initiated an investigation and found that personal information within their systems might have been accessed or viewed by an unauthorized third party between July 3, 2024, and July 13, 2024. Smart ERP recently reported this data breach to the Attorney General of Vermont and affected individuals.
What type of information was stolen?
The personal information in the compromised files may have included:
- Names
- Social Security Numbers
- Driver's License Numbers
- Financial Account Numbers
- Credit Card/Debit Card Numbers
- Unique biometric data (e.g., fingerprint, retina or iris image)
- Genetic information
- Medical records
