EL SEGUNDO, Calif., Oct. 22, 2026 /PRNewswire/ -- Gallatin AI, Inc., an AI-native logistics company transforming sustainment decision-making for the U.S. military, today announced its award of a Phase II Small Business Innovation Research (SBIR) contract from the U.S. Air Force. Valued at $1.2 million and awarded through the Air Force's Digital Transformation Office (DTO), the contract reflects growing demand for Gallatin's sustainment decision-support technology across the uniformed services.

Under this contract, Gallatin will support the Air Force with Navigator, the company's flagship decision-support platform already in use by U.S. military units. Navigator will be used to develop and validate capabilities that forecast fuel demand, assess resupply feasibility, and link fuel constraints directly to sortie and mission impacts. The focus is Class III supply (fuel), which is the binding constraint on sortie generation under the Air Force's Agile Combat Employment (ACE) doctrine.

"Gallatin was built to solve sustainment challenges across the Joint Force, and this contract brings us one step closer to putting Navigator into the hands of every military logistician," said Woody Glier, CEO of Gallatin. "Fuel demand forecasting and resupply is a challenge for every global military force. Getting it right is an operational necessity; getting it wrong puts lives on the line and risks mission failure."

Building on a successful Phase I contract focused on humanitarian assistance and disaster relief planning, Phase II will let logistics planners rapidly test disruptions and compare courses of action, with clear visibility into the assumptions, tradeoffs, and risks behind each. The result: Airmen can spot risks early and dynamically adjust operational plans to sustain combat power.
