Experts from EMA and apsware will examine how organizations can improve visibility across automation technologies, teams, and business processes

LAFAYETTE, Colo., Nov. 3, 2026 /PRNewswire/ -- Enterprise Management Associates (EMA™), a leading IT research and consulting firm, today announced an upcoming webinar, "The New Automation Challenge: Coordinating Siloed Workloads," featuring Dan Twing, president and COO at EMA, and Peter Thiermann, CEO of apsware, a digital business automation specialist. Sven Lennartz, head of development at apsware, will also present a real-world enterprise use case and demonstrate apsware observer.

The New Automation Challenge: Coordinating Siloed Workloads webinar

Enterprise automation now spans cloud services, data platforms, specialized tools, and AI, and more teams than ever depend on it. Each platform provides visibility into its own operations, but that view rarely extends to how automated activities connect, where dependencies exist, and when intervention is needed. Although many respondents to EMA research report strong visibility, 83% lack full real-time visibility into the systems their primary orchestration or control platform coordinates.

"Enterprise automation is already federated, built up over time across platforms, teams, and layers of existing infrastructure. AI will add to that federation: more platforms, more automated activity, and new dependencies across domains," said Twing. "For end-to-end processes that cross those boundaries, organizations need better control and visibility into how the work connects. That is why automation observability matters."

Twing and Thiermann will explain why automation challenges now extend beyond executing individual tasks to coordinating work across increasingly complex environments, and why traditional orchestration approaches fall short.

Attendees will gain insight into:

  • Why enterprise automation is becoming increasingly distributed across systems and teams.
  • Why individual scheduler and platform views may no longer provide sufficient context for critical business processes.
  • How automation visibility requirements are expanding beyond specialist scheduling teams.
  • Why replacing existing automation platforms is often neither realistic nor necessary.
  • How organizations can create a shared view across existing automation environments.

The webinar is Tuesday, Nov. 17 at 1 p.m. EST. Registration is available at https://info.enterprisemanagement.com/the-new-automation-challenge-webinar-pr
