Collaboration connects 21X conversational AI with FlightBridge aviation workflows, beginning with FBO customer service
LAS VEGAS, Oct. 20, 2026 /PRNewswire/ -- 21X and FlightBridge today announced a collaboration to build an AI concierge experience for private aviation, beginning with customer service at fixed-base operators (FBOs). At the 2026 NBAA Business Aviation Convention & Exhibition, the companies will preview how customers could make routine requests through a natural conversation while FlightBridge remains the aviation operations platform through which FBO teams manage and fulfill those requests.
For a private aviation customer calling an FBO after hours, even a routine service request often involves a voicemail and waiting for a response. The experience 21X and FlightBridge are developing is intended to provide a more immediate, premium point of contact while allowing FBO personnel to retain visibility and control over fulfillment.
21X will provide the conversational interface across phone, text and email. FlightBridge will provide the aviation operations layer, using its Model Context Protocol tools to turn customer conversations into structured requests within the FlightBridge workflows FBO teams already use.
Initial demonstration scenarios are expected to include hotel booking, rental car booking, catering coordination and FBO service requests. By handling structured intake and reducing repetitive order entry, the planned experience is intended to give FBO staff more time for customer interactions that require judgment, expertise and hospitality.
The collaboration combines more than a decade of 21X conversational AI experience, informed by more than 500 million human-fine-tuned conversations, with FlightBridge's purpose-built aviation trip logistics platform.
"Private aviation customers expect service to be immediate, personal and precise, whether they call during the day or after hours," said Corey Welch, CEO of 21X. "By pairing 21X's conversational AI with FlightBridge's purpose-built aviation workflows, we are working toward an AI concierge that can handle routine requests and give FBO teams more time for the interactions where their expertise and hospitality matter most."
"Our goal with this collaboration is to show what's possible when conversational AI is connected to systems the industry relies on," said Dudley King, president of FlightBridge. "FlightBridge is built so AI platforms can initiate requests while the operational details stay in FlightBridge, and 21X is the first to demonstrate it."
The integration is currently in beta with select mutual customers and general availability will be announced at a later date. FBOs are the initial focus, with potential future applications for charter companies and other aircraft operators.
NBAA-BACE attendees can meet the teams at booths 2961 (21X) and 3963 (FlightBridge) to see a live demo. Visit nbaabace.org for details.
